Should you wish to have an antique armchair or chair restored, I can supply an expert appraisal of the work and an estimate of the cost.

Obviously, quoting a price without seeing the piece to be restored or created, can only be an approximation.

The material or sentimental value of a piece of furniture is hard to assess. However, I recommend horsehair stuffing for valuable chairs! It protects them in the long run and is true to their genuineness.

Regarding prices for any stitching done in the workshop, one must differentiate between work done by hand, especially when it comes to the piping, which takes longer and is more delicate, and machine work.

The customer should consider his budget and decide accordingly with the upholsterer-designer.
